Urgo’s Concert Report

Oh. My. Tonights concert was unbelievable. Undeniably the best concert I’ve been to at UMass, or at all for that matter since I have only been to one (rock) concert not at umass The best word I can use to describe it was meditation. With all the energy from the music I was so enjoying myself. Incredible. Until today I was not a real big tool fan, but just liked some of their songs. The concert transformed me and now I am a big fan. Really no other band that has performed at umass made me feel this way. I liked every song loved how they put on the show. The atmosphere of the crowd was great as well. At the past two shows I was in a similar place in the crowd (about the 8th row from the stage) and it was packed so close that you couldn’t move. At this show there was enough room to move around and get into the music. I was also a part of a few Moshe (I dunno how to spell it..) pits which were fun as well.
One of the best parts was after the “break” where they broke out with a drum duet. Again, such a powerful experience in rhythm and creativity.
Well I am so tired now that it is 3:09am. I am going to take all my great feelings to bed now. Goodnight Brett and Aimie (the two people that went to the concert with me). A lot of other things happened today too, but thats a story for later.
