rumors say

Wow, just looking at my web page I noticed that I have only blogged about the fire since I came back from England. How about a blog entry before bed? Sound good to you? Sweet. Here ‘goes.
School has been really heating up lately in all subjects. From last saturday until thursday I was slaving away at the keyboard working on the longest paper I’ve had to write in a long time, an 11 page paper for my psychology of aging class. On saturday I interviewed a 65+ old person and then the rest of the time had to come up with ideas to write about. Fun stuff… yeah thats it.
After that I had a whole day left to study for my Operating Systems exam. I think it went well, mostly, but I really didn’t have enough time to go over everything that I would have liked. I hope I did well enough. 🙂
I’m currently way behind in my comparative literature class. Most of the assigned readings it doesn’t matter if I’m a bit behind as long as I catch up before the final (late may), but I have a 6 page paper due in a week! The bad part with that is I still have to read one and a half books before I can start the paper! (over 300 pages…)
My gym class is pretty sweet. Nothing really to comment on that except that there are only a few classes left. Fun class, too bad they are cancling the PE dept next semester… or so the rumors say.
Lastly, my network security class. Other then my hatred of the class quizes, and the number theory behind cryptography, the class isn’t that bad at all. We have two more labs assigned, one due in a week and it has not yet been posted so I dunno how thats going to go. Anyway, all in all, great class.
Ok thats it for school. I also started looking for jobs for the summer yesterday. Aparently I can not work at my current job due to a lack of $$ for students over the summer, and I’m told that the place where I worked last summer has no openings. 🙁 I started using the umass career center’s web page to apply for jobs. I *HOPE* I can find something. If you know anyone that has a job for a programmer, network security person, or really anything that deals with computers that pays for the summer let me know. Right now I’ll take just about anything as I am sort of in dept. Details on Russ’s blog entry for 4/26/03.
Hmm.. Do I post on other people’s blogs more then my own? I think I do. I posted that debt story on Russ’s. I posted a story about cockroaches in wheeler on Elsie’s – aka Liz’s new domain, and I wished Elliott to get well soon.
Ok, I’m going to bed now. Anyone know of a ieSpell-like program for mozilla on linux? I’m sure there are lots of spelling erors in this entry hehe.
