Astronomy Days Triangle Tweetup
Over the past few days I went to two pretty cool events. On Sunday it was Astronomy Days at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences which was pretty cool. Outside they had a whole bunch of solar telescopes set up to look at.. well the sun of course. I was able to see some solar flares which I tried to record and also a sunspot on a different telescope.
After the museum we travel back in time to Thursday when I was at the Triangle (The Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area is called “The Triangle”) Tweetup. I visited with some people I had met in the past (from the nasatweetup) met some people I hadn’t really ever met in person before and met some new ones too.
