So today in the mail I got a new Celestron Sky Prodigy 130 telescope and its pretty awesome! Well at least compared to the cheap one I got from toysrus. I haven’t even been able to use it yet but I’m seriously liking this.
I really wanted a computerized one that would find and track (i.e. move with the earth) stars so I was looking at those specifically. This one does that but I heard a lot of the other ones were really a pain to align. The cool thing about this one is it does that all for you! You just turn it on and press the align button and it does its stuff. Other ones you need to point it yourself at three things. This is automatic!
Anyway I’m sure I’ll do another video on this once I’m actually able to try it out but I just am so excited. š
