Mario Marathon 5 for Child’s Play

Today (at 11am ET) kicks off the 5th Annual Mario Marathon for Child’s Play Charity raising money to give books toys and video games to sick kids in children’s hospitals world wide. Please stop on by the marathon and at least check it out and share it with your friends as its really a great cause but also if you’re able to donate! If you donate through http://socialblade.com/mm not only will the money go directly to the marathon via their widget it’ll also allow Social Blade to match your donation. We’re hoping to raise at least $1000 this year hopefully much more!
On a semi related note I just got word this morning that a friend of mine from the area here someone who hosted the superbowl party I went to this year is being transferred from hospital care to hospice for a tumor (now 10 in x 10 in in size). Please keep Karen in your thoughts and perhaps as you donate. She has a blog where people can leave encouraging comments that if you PM me I can send to you as well.
