A new hope
If you read my last blog entry closly you would have noticed that I stated that my job with The Digital Realm was over. On Sept 11th 2004 I got a call from my boss basically telling me that the startup ran out of funds so they would not longer be able to keep me on the payroll as a full time employee for much longer and today, Sept 30th I'm pleased to announce I have just accepted a job with Verint as a Field Support Engineer. Unlike my old job Verint has been around for a while and is even on the stock market (doing quite well) Their parent company, Comverse Technology is not doing too bad either. Anyway I'm excited. I'll be working out of the DC area still but the job is about 50% travel so I'll be able to tour the country (mostly) and world. I start on October 18th with a week of training in NY on Long Island.
