Re-Announcing Ellipsis
I first ran a story on my blog entitled "Announcing Ellipsis" over a year ago but now its definitely time to run it again. After much hard work the band made up of friends of mine from UMass (Mac, Rob, Shay (and Chris from MIT)) have released their first CD - Weight of the Sun.
I have been listening to and supporting these guys since they first started the band up a few years back, and have had the great opportunity to see them all grow and develop their own unique musical style together. Their first album "Weight of the Sun" runs almost 50 minutes in length and is full of great tunes such as "Parallax", "Streetlamps", "Penguin", and 6 others. They have mp3s up on the Ellipsis band website sampling four of their songs as well as a link to buy their cd. If you don't want to buy it online it should be in Newbury Comics and other local Boston area stores shortly. Also if you stop by one of their live concerts they have cds there too.
