Extended Popups
Check out this cool game. Kill the popups! I gave up after 300. Well other then feeling a little sick this weekend, this past week or so went well. I picked up the Lord of the Rings Extended DVD version and have watched the movie (including 30+ mins of extra scenes) and several of the documentaries. Interesting stuff. Also, on the day Harry Potter came out tickets for Lord of the rings, The Two Towers went on sale! I picked up 15 tickets and all but one of them are sold. Check out this page for info on getting the last ticket. We are going at 6:30pm on Wednesday December 18th (opening day) after all my finals are over. I can't wait!!!!!!!!! Posted by Urgo at 09:24 PM

Lazy Reading
Vacas son personas tambien. Right. Well anyway, tomorrow (today!) is the release of the second Harry Potter movie. A year and two weeks ago I was not a fan at all of the series, and really didn't think too highly of it. Then I decided to pre-buy tickets for the showing at cinemark since I figured with all the hype there must be something good about it. I decided then that it would be best to read the book first, but due to the fact that I don't really read I didn't see that happening. (Wow, I'm rambling. It's 1am sorry.) Ok, anyway, I ended up acquiring the audio book version and listening to the whole book the week before the movie came out so I was prepared and since I listened to the book I was hooked on the series. Everyone that has read/listed to the books knows what I'm talking about, and for you skeptics out there that have not tried it yet, it's not just for kids, its great for older people as well. =] This summer on my way to-and-from work I listened to the next three audio books so tomorrows movie release is going to be great! Tomorrow is indeed going to be a big movie day for me. I plan on picking up both The Lord Of The Rings Extended DVD and Attack of the Clones as well (line entertainment)! Eventually when I get time I'll do a blog post about where the name Urgo came from, but for now lets just leave it as it has something to do with LOTR. Oh, one more interesting fact I learned this past week is that Bill Amend, the author of my favorite comic Foxtrot (see the bottom of urgo.org) was born in Northampton Mass and got a degree at Amherst College in physics! How cool is that. I never knew that used to live right next door to me. For a brief bio of him where check out here and here. Foxtrot rules! Posted by Urgo at 01:20 AM
