The job search is over
Today is a great day. I now officially accepted and have a job with The Digital Realm which is based in Alexandria Virginia! The Digital Realm is a new company that is creating gaming centers all over the country, starting in VA. The center that is being worked on right now is going to be huge. 50 xbox stations all equip with 48" TV's, internet cafe, and more. My job will be to write various programs and help keep the place and network running. After the VA center is all set I'd be moving to more of a corporate position where I'd run the corperate network and manage someone else to do my old job. The exact details are still being worked out but to begin I will be working from home (MA) and moving down to VA sometime in May or June. Today is also the day that my Degree from UMass came in the mail. Seems fitting. I graduate and accept a job in the same day. =]

Images and beyond
Over the past week I've started to bump out some changes on the web page here. Most are behind the scene but I have ditched the classes section as I have graduated. I also am currently working displaying a random image (located currently in the "Homework" section). Random image? Lots of people have those picking random images from their photo collections so whats the big deal? Well see, inspired by diddly.com's site, I am using google's image search and randomly picking an image from the internet! Sometimes right now you will get broken images but I am still working on the functionality but I wanted to put it up as soon as I got it working because I think its cool hehe. A few people have been asking (in the comments) about how my job search has been going. Well to keep everyone updated I'm going to be going down to the Washington DC area next week for two interviews. Both of the jobs seem like they'd be great so maybe in a few weeks I'll have a new home. =] Posted by Urgo at 06:07 PM

Quick Funnies
So today I was reading slashdot and they had an article on money. I decided to read the comments, something that I don't do too often and came across the funniest story. Check out the story of how $2 bills do not exist according to taco bell for a good laugh. I want to try using $2 bills and see what happens at various places now. =] In other news I wanted to give a big shout out to Peter Jackson for winning 11 oscars sunday night! Well he didn't win them all, but his movie did! Lord of the Rings, the Return of the King goes down in history with Ben Hur and Titanic for winning the most (all tied at 11) oscars ever.
