The Final Four
Yesterday, now two days ago really was a really great, yet sad day. We'll call it Saturday to simplify things =] I spent the day saying good bye to some good friends, namely MVSki my roommate for two years and friend since college started, Rasputin, Mavrix, and Outcast. MVSki and I spent the day driving around the Greater Deerfield area taking in the sights before we said good bye until he comes down to DC and visits. After visiting with MVSki it was off to Easthampton to rasputin's house, and then to the Easthampton fireworks (50,000? of my closest friends threw me a going away party! Nice huh?). The fireworks show was great, at least that’s what my pictures tell me :) rasp, mavrix, myself, and outcast spent a good amount of time pointing camera's at the sky instead of just watching them. :) After the show we headed back to rasp's where outcast convinced me and I will be getting broadvoice. You can do so many cool things with it including running Okay I guess that’s it, just a short little entry this time. I'm also linking to pictures from the day described above. 4days 5hrs and counting.. Posted by Urgo at 02:08 AM

Soda Change
I was just sitting here listening to some Múm and thinking that two weeks from today I'll be in a strange, far away land that is often called Virginia. True its not really "far" being only about 450 miles from MA, nor is it too strange after you get past the fact that people call all soda's there coke instead of their respective names, but it is going to be quite a change for me. I who has lived within 35 minutes of the same spot my entire life except for vacations will truly be away. I'm both excited and a little nervous. It will be great to finally be off and starting my own life, but behind I will be leaving the countryside where I grew up and all the people I know. This past weekend I was able to visit irpaC, nikki, jjoey, kc, and winter one last time before the great trip down south on the cape and I'm so glad I was able to. I had a great time. I'll miss you guys. Luckily I do know some people down in the DC Metro area so it shouldn't be that bad of a transition. I little by little been packing things up and getting rid of stuff I don't want, but I still have a lot more to go through before the trip. Yesterday I ordered comcast so it should be all ready the day I move in! Cable internet access will be great after living off of 28.8 since I graduated in December. So cable's set, internet's set, uhaul's booked, some small things for the apartment have been purchased, apartment has been leased, anything else I'm forgetting? :) I'm debating what I want to do for a phone line. I'm debating either just using my cell phone and maybe adding more minutes to the plan, not doing anything, or getting a VOIP phone-line.. Either packet8 or broadvoice... We'll see :) To start I think I'll just use my cell phone as is. Well I guess thats it for tonight. Posted by Urgo at 01:08 AM

Less then a month left to live...
... in MA before moving to DC :) Okay so that really wasn't a good title so sue me. :) Anyway today (yesterday now as its after 1am) I spoke to the apartment place in Virginia and started the process to get a six month lease on an apartment. As many of you know, and I've been working part time (20 hours a week) from home here for The Digital Realm doing various things like setting up servers and writing little applications for their web page awaiting the time when I went full time so I could move to the DC metro area. That time has come! Next week I start working full time so by the end of the month I'll be able to afford to start renting my own place. The place I will be moving to is located in Alexandria, Virginia and is called Willow Run. Here are three: 1 2 3 links with info and pictures on the place. The plan right now is to drive down July 2nd, so as the title says thats less then a month from today! I have a few other things I want to post but I'll save it for a later post.. which I will do more often.. I promise. =] Posted by Urgo at 01:13 AM
