A few years ago IMAX started doing a digital format which albeit does produce some really nice images it also allows for much smaller screens. (Check out the wikipedia page below for more details) That being said I’m sort of torn here between which experience I prefer. I think I do like the bigger screen better but its a lot more of a hassle to get to it..
Do you see films in imax and if so what type of setup does your theater have? The only type of imax I DON’T like are the domed ones. I saw a movie there back on long island and will never do it again. It’s fine for movies MADE for that but it was really annoying seeing a real movie on them.
