Why Are You On YouTube? — I WAS RECOGNIZED! (YTO 93 Day 273)
First off the most amazing thing happened today… I WAS RECOGNIZED! You know you’ve really ‘made it’ on YouTube when you’re out and about and someone you’ve never met before says ‘Hey Urgo!’ lol.
Anyway beyond that I’d like to apologize for the quality of this video. I’m just glad it got filmed at all. Once I went to review the footage while still in the park at another spot I wanted to film in my camera was flashing E:61:10 and the zoom feature wouldn’t work. When I got back home I looked that up on the web and it turns out there was a pretty easy solution.. bang it lol. I tried that for a little while and it wasn’t working for me when I realized I wasn’t banging it the right way (was banging it lens down needed to bang it viewfinder (not lcd) down). Anyway after doing this procedure and resetting the camera it now seems to work again I hope! I’m thinking the camera must have gotten bumped as it was in my jacket pocket as I walked the park and the internal lens fell out of gear or something.
So now onto the video topic itself. Why am I on youtube. When I started on youtube making videos it was partially to justify my big purchase and create a hobby but its really turned into much more then that. I’ve been making daily videos for 273 days in a row mainly because its fun! I really love the challenge itself and also the challenge of growing in the ranks on YouTube. I’m pretty competitive if you couldn’t tell 🙂 Do I ever think I’ll be in the top 10 list? No probably not but YouTube lets me be creative and I love interacting with all of you! I love sharing hopefully interesting things and my opinions on things so I’m not leaving here anytime soon.
