We laughed over the whole idea. One, we interpret the end time theology a bit different (post-trib rapture). Two, this guy said he’d read his Bible and based his declaration of the date on various biblical passages. I’m guessing he missed that one in Mark where Jesus says that not even he knows when he’s coming back. Last I heard, the leader of this group of people (can’t remember his name, which tells you how important I consider him) has become considerably richer, has had a stroke (probably from the shock of being wrong) and has changed the date to October something.
Left a comment for you. We were on vacation when you first posted this. Yep, we’d have been raptured at Disney World – and Jerry Falwell is spinning in his grave at the idea. LOL!
