Flying on the Ground – Park City Utah Skiing
As you may have seen in my preview video I’m currently in Utah and this weekend I went skiing here! Even though I grew up in MA another place that skiing is common I never actually skied until a few years ago so this was only my 4th time but I had a lot of fun!
Believe it or not but I only fell down twice! The first time was on my first time down the hill where the rental boots I had were WAY too tight. I was literally in pain and screwed up a slow down maneuver. After I switched the boots for a size bigger I felt great and didn’t fall again until almost the last run when someone else wiped out in front of me.
Park City Utah where I was is pretty well known for their great ski conditions however this year they’ve been cursed with an extreme lack of real snow so most of the snow I was on was man made. Fortunately/unfortunately for me I’ve only been skiing in pre or post season in the past so I was used to these bad conditions. Even with that though I had a lot of fun!
