Finding Neo

The summer is finally here, at least in the no-school since. The weather is still that of spring, but hopefully that will change soon. Anyway, since I did not get a co-op like I had wanted for the summer I ended up getting 40 hours a week at the helpdesk for June, and part time hours at Cinemark (movie theater) for the whole summer (hopefully full time for July/august).
The helpdesk has actually been pretty busy this week so I have not had much time to work on my own projects, but hopefully as the month progresses I’ll get some things done. 🙂 Cinemark isn’t the most glamorous job, but it definitely isn’t hard. The people I’ve met so far there are nice so its not too boring or annoying either. I rip tickets, clean theaters, make sure people don’t steal posters/etc. When its busy I also fill in at the concession stand. The rest of the time I just hang around and talk to the other ushers or go in and watch movies to make sure the uh screen and sound work fine.. yeah.
When we clean theaters we usually go in for the last 5-10 minutes of the movie so I’ve seen the ending of Bruce Almighty and Finding Nemo about 15 times each by now. I’ve also seen the Matrix ending several times.
