Introducing ItemSea — What do you want? (YTO 175)
Today I am proud to announce the project I’ve been working on for the past week ItemSea! Basically its as simple as this I got upset with the lack of imagery there is on online shopping sites on products and thought there should be a better way. While some products do have 360 degree images that you can rotate or “marketing videos” its hard to come by an unbiased video that just shows the product from all angles so you can get a good feel of what it looks like. For me I was looking for laptop cases and I sort of took a shot in the dark on the one I ended up buying (its not here yet). My goal is to catalog as many products as possible in video form so others won’t have this problem going forward.
You might say Urgo aren’t there unboxing videos that do just this? Well yeah sort of. The thing is I really don’t like unboxing videos. More of the video is the unboxing then actually demoing the item unboxed. At ItemSea you won’t be seeing items getting unboxed you’ll see them already unboxed in their glory.
Please check out the site and let me know what you think! It’s still got a long way to go to be complete but I’ve already been getting a bit of organic traffic to the videos from youtube search so I know some people are already benefiting!
