A Year’s Life in a Day (Urgo’s YTO 1 Day 365!!!!! I DID IT!!!!)
I can honestly say a year ago when I embarked upon this challenge I wasn’t sure I would be able to complete it. There were weeks when I had videos planned out for the entire week in advance but then also days where I had no idea what to do for a video up until the last minute. One way or another though I have now completed the challenge of posting a video a day for an entire year. There’s not too many people that can say they have done that.
I know so many of you are wanting me to continue posting daily and I give mad credit to the people who have been doing this daily for more then a year already and I probably COULD keep going but I instead am going to switch to a different format that allows me to focus more on each video to produce even better ones and also focus on my other channels as well. I have some big things I’d like to do and hopefully at least some of them will happen 🙂
Speaking of spending more time on videos this video you are watching now took several days to complete and an upgrade to my editing software. In order to pull it off I had to first convert each of my HD videos to a lower resolution in order to get my editor to even do anything with them (when stacking 36 on top of each other it was just oh HELL no! lol. Anyway even after doing that I ran into a bug in sony vegas 9 that after so many videos were loaded in it ran out of memory and there was no fix. Fortunately vegas 10 addressed this issue and it was smooth sailing. Anyway it took probably a day to get things set up the way I wanted them a day to convert all the old videos a day to edit them all into the timeline just right (had to do this from scratch several times including my proof of concept version) and then a day 14 hours (two renders) of all the videos into a flat file and then a few hours to edit that together with the intro and outro that you see here oh and an hour or so to find all the songs I wanted 🙂
Anyway thanks so much to everyone that has supported me for the past year. Thanks to all my subscribers commenters those who made intros video responses or video 300 videos for me. Thanks to all those who have given me shout outs. Thanks to all those who have sent things to my PO box. And a BIG thanks to all of those in my YouTube Orbit family that have joined in this common goal with me. I am the first to finish but I wont be the last. Gooooooo Orbit!!!!
